Model Zéphirin 47 coloured Obscure is a subtly enlarged reinterpretation of one of Jacques Marie Mage's most iconic forms - a frame that combines the intellectual grace of a professor with the nonchalance of an artist. Its sleek lines, sculptural temples and perfectly crafted proportions make it a timeless symbol of style and sophistication.

The model is named after Pope Zeferin and its design draws inspiration from the pre-World War II aesthetic - classic, austere and full of character. Version Obscure goes a step further: it's minimalist black broken by the cool light of the lenses - a juxtaposition that looks like an elegant „shadow” of the classics, but with a modern, artistic touch.

Handmade in Japan from 10 mm cured cellulose acetate In deep black, the luminaire acquires a unique structure thanks to the customised, double-laminated earcups. The whole is complemented by details from sterling silver: signed arrowhead front pins, exposed wirecore and tension-secured custom 5-barrel hinge with spur rivets. The icing on the cake is super-light blue CR39 lenses, which give the setting a fresh, visually light and collectible feel - without losing its class.
